- Take a self guided tour at Djanbung Gardens Permaculture Centre, a living ‘learnscape’ of working permaculture systems and sustainability in action. Open Tue-Sun 10.30am to 3pm

- With a fascinating array of ingenious, creative and quirky homewares, health and beauty products (and some extraordinary cups of tea!) a visit to The Green Bank is a must!
- The Nimbin Apothecary has lots of herbal teas too... and loads of lotions, potions, oils and more
- Enjoy coffee and cake at the Nimbin Valley dairy then visit the baby goats for a hit of cuteness.
- Visit the Nimbin Farmer's Market, next door to Green Bank, every Wednesday afternoon from 3pm. Wonderfully fresh produce and breads.

- Take a scenic drive through the hinterland to the pretty little village of The Channon, gateway to Nightcap National Park
- The Channon’s famous “Make it, Bake it, Grow it” market is on every 2nd Sunday of the month
- Take a short drive (30 minutes) from The Channon to Protesters Falls and enjoy a short walk (1.4km) to the base of the falls (45 minute return). This was the site of Australia’s first successful anti-logging campaign in 1979
- Enjoy a leisurely drive through macadamia country and stop to try the chocolate coated macadamias at Macadamia Direct.
- Take a short detour through to Dunoon and the Whian Whian falls. Make sure you take your cossies for a refreshing dip in the swimming holes.
